Lead generation

A lead generation applications are great at capturing user information and building a list of potential customers. They can be used to collect email addresses, phone numbers, or any other information you need to reach out to your audience.

You can ask users targeted questions to qualify them as leads, or offer them something in return for their information. This could be a free ebook, a discount code, or access to a webinar.

Below is an example of a lead generation app created in ditto:

How to create a lead generation app

App Editor

The homepage of each new ditto app comes with a default hero block. This block is a great place to introduce yourself or your brand to your audience. It will be prefilled with details from the basic info step, however you can edit it further to your liking.

As all blocks in ditto are fully composable, you can just delete the hero block if you'd like to start from scratch.

Add Form

Add some text to your page to explain to the user why you are collecting their information. You can explain what they will get in return for submitting their information, and how you will use it.

On your homepage document, select the '+' button to open the block menu. From here you can add the 'Form' block.

Fill in the form fields with the information you want to collect from your leads. You can add fields for email addresses, phone numbers, names, or any other information you need.

Add additional content

Add a 'Text' block below the form to provide some additional information to your user which will only be displayed once they have submitted the previous form.

At this point you can link to other pages in your app, send the user an email or send them AI generated content based on their form responses.

Publish

Once you're happy with the app content, click the 'Finish' button on the top right of the page. You'll be taken back to your app's preview page where you can see what your published app looks like.

Select the publish button in the top right to share your app with your audience.
